Dr. Ashish Chhitwal O. D.
Dr. Ashish is a native of New Delhi, India, and completed his undergraduate
studies at the University of Virginia in Biology. After completion of
his undergraduate studies, he went on to study at the New England College
of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts, where he received his Doctorate
in Optometry. He completed his Residency at the Louis Stokes Cleveland
Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Cleveland Ohio, where he specialized
in the treatment and management of complex ocular diseases.
Dr. Rohini Mehta B.S, O. D.
Dr. Rohini Mehta O.D. has been in practice for nearly a decade having worked
in various clinical settings in Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut, New York
City, and Washington DC, gathering a wealth of broad range experience.
Dr. Mehta earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia
in Charlottesville, VA and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State
University of New York in Manhattan. While finishing her doctorate degree,
she participated in a volunteer mission to Nicaragua where she provided
eye care services, glasses and eye medications to underprivileged children
and adults. Her clinical interests are ocular disease, contact lenses
and refractive surgery co-management.
Dr. Richard Bossin, O.D.
Dr. Richard Bossin is from Washington DC. He has earned his Bachelor's
degree from the University of Maryland, and he received his Doctor of
Optometry Degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Bossin provides full scope primary optometry care and contact lens
fittings. He specializes in dealing with visual problems that cannot be
resolved with just glasses and contacts. He treats and re-mediates developmental
vision problems, strabismus and amblyopia. He provides pediatric visual
care, and treats visual problems resulting from head injury, stroke and autism.
Dr. Nastaran Khoshbin, O.D.
Dr. Nastaran Khoshbin is originally from Tehran, Iran. She received her
bachelor's degree in biology from George Mason University where she
graduated with honors and
Magna Cum Laude. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of
New York College of Optometry in Manhattan. Dr. Khoshbin is a member of
American Optometric Association. She practices full-scope, primary care
optometry with emphasis on contact lens fitting and treatment and management
of ocular diseases.
Dr. Nisha Patel, O.D.
Dr. Nisha Patel, a native of Gastonia, North Carolina, completed her undergraduate
degree in biology at the University of North Carolina, and her doctoratein
Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She completed her
residency at Malcom Randall Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Gainesville,
Florida where she specialized in the treatment and management of complex
ocular diseases and also became a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Patel practices full-scope primary care optometry in addition to fitting
of contact lenses.
Dr. Tom Damiani, O. D., M.B.A., F.A.A.O.
Dr. Tom Damiani was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and raised in California.
During his 21 years of actve duty in the military, he spent 16 of those
years, practicing as a full scope Army Optometrist. He earned his Doctorate
of Optometry in 1999 from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis,
TN. After that, he did an additional year of Residency at the West Point
US Military Academy in Primary Care Optometry, affiliated with the State
University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry. In 2007, Dr. Damiani
earned an MBA degree in Health Care Administration at Baruch College and
also a Fellowship in Clinical Management at SUNY College of Optometry,
both in Manhattan, NY. He also is fellow in the American Academy of Optometry.
He has traveled extensively around the world. Dr. Damiani practices mainly
in the Springfield location, focusing on primary care optometry and contact
Dr. Sara Varghai, O. D.
Dr. Sara Varghai is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She received her B.S.
in Biology from The Ohio State University. She earned her Doctor of Optometry
degree from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Varghai
did a rotation at Katzen Eye Group, a multi-disciplinary private practice
in Baltimore, MD and also at William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center
in Columbia, SC. She later completed a one year residency at the Louis
Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, with heavy emphasis on ocular disease,
as well as focus on specialty contact lenses and low vision rehabilitation.
Dr. Varghai is also a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
